Important points for optimal powder coating
Dear Customer,
We want you to always be completely satisfied with us and our services.
However, in order to provide you with a perfect result, it is of utmost importance that some important points are taken into account.
Hanging holes: Alles e Parts are coated while hanging – plan for hanging holes!

Sharp edges: Sharp edges (laser cut...) must be deburred and rounded to at least 40°
Rust: Oxide reduces the adhesion of the coating and the life expectancy of the product!
Labeling: Do not write anything on the workpieces to be coated! Any pen residue must be removed!
Sticker: Do not apply any stickers to the workpieces and under no circumstances to the visible side. All adhesive residues must be removed without leaving any residue!
Silicone: Never allow surfaces to come into contact with silicone before coating!
Internal grease or oil contamination: Leaking grease or oil prevents a poor quality coating result on pipe structures that are not tightly welded!
Inserted bolts and sheet metal doubling: Only grease-free, tight insertion of bolts, bushings, threads and doublings guarantees a clean powder coating!
Mill scale and tinder: They are the enemy of powder coating. They must be removed before coating!
Laser cuts: Oxygen cut laser parts form an oxide layer that is hostile to the coating!
Covering and masking work: Talk to us. Together we will surely find a solution.
Fillings: Are prohibited! Please discuss exceptions with us.
Blasted parts: Caution, risk of corrosion! Blasted workpieces must be processed within a few hours!
Galvanized parts/ Duplex: Further pretreatment may be necessary!
VA parts: Must be blasted beforehand to improve adhesion!
Scratches, burrs and sharp edges: Avoid!
Hard and soft soldering: Hard soldering must be blasted and soft soldering must be avoided!
Outgassing from cast parts: Air inclusions and vibratory grinding processes
Packaging and Transport : Remove bubble wrap and cardboard boxes before storage
Cleaning and care: Please note the care instructions
Colors/color tolerances: Clarify colour, gloss and structure before coating
Anodizing: We do not provide any guarantee or warranty on workpieces that are anodized
You will find detailed information about the above points on the next pages. If you still have any questions, just give us a call. We are sure to find an optimized solution.
