Blasting technology

Sandblasting - Glass pen blasting

All residues introduced into the surface, such as grease, oil and the resulting oxide layer, must be removed from the substrate.
A mechanical pretreatment such as sandblasting is used to remove coarse contaminants such as mill scale, scale layers, corrosion or old paint layers.

Fine, metal-free Scorrex blast furnace slag is our main blasting media

Scorrex is a synthetic, mineral and environmentally friendly blasting media and is therefore ideal for all purposes.

Advantages and special properties of sandblasting
  • Perfect removal of rust, varnish, paint residues and other deposits
  • better durability of the subsequent surface protection
  • effective further processing of the corresponding material is guaranteed
  • particularly economical
Difference between sandblasting / sweeping / glass bead blasting

Sandblasting of steel parts etc. with coarse grain slag according to DIN 55928 part and standardization level up to SA 3.0
Ideal for removing varnish, paint residue, scale and other contaminants.
Sweeping of hot-dip galvanized steel parts, with fine slag, for better adhesion of the paint.
Here a maximum pressure of 3-4 bar is used, which means the galvanization is not damaged.

We can process all three variants.
