Powder coating

Powder coating
Powder coating or powder painting involves coating an electrically conductive material with powder paint.
The material is first carefully pre-treated by cleaning it and creating a load-bearing layer.
After electrostatic coating in the desired color, the workpiece is placed in a drying system.
Here, a homogeneous paint surface is created by baking the powder at approx. 180°C - 200 °C.
After cooling, the powder coating surface has reached its final hardness and can be immediately subjected to loads.

The powder coating is suitable for steel, galvanized steel, sheet metal, stainless steel and aluminum as well as magnesium.
Typically, the layer thickness varies between 60 and 120 µm.
Depending on the application and surface characteristics, the layer thickness can be applied perfectly by our experts.
Powder coating is an environmentally friendly industrial coating
which excludes harmful or flammable solvent residues.
